Duvall sits in the Snoqualmie Valley between Monroe and Carnation, and its mix of rural acreage and newer hillside subdivisions is a good fit for our roofing and exterior crews. Most failed decks we replace in Duvall did not fail because the boards wore out. They failed because the ledger was never flashed and rotted the rim joist of the house along with it. When we replace a deck, we inspect the wall behind it and repair what we find.

Wind moves down the valley, the foothills add rainfall, and the homes on the hill above downtown sit under fir and cedar. Roofs here need clean valleys, strong ventilation and moss control. We build cedar decks in Duvall too, including large projects like a full replacement of a 1,000 square foot clear cedar deck, and we will be honest with you about the maintenance cedar takes under Northwest trees.

Newer 2000s subdivisions on the hill, older in-town homes, and farms and acreage along the valley floor with large roofs and outbuildings. If your Duvall deck's framing is sound and spaced correctly for the new material, resurfacing with new composite or cedar boards can save real money. We inspect the joists, ledger and footings first and tell you honestly whether it makes sense.
Decks are often part of a larger Duvall exterior project alongside siding and roofing. We coordinate the phases so the ledger flashing, siding and any roof overhang work as one system.
We provide deck building across all of Duvall, including Downtown Duvall, Big Rock, Cherry Valley, Lake Marcel, and the surrounding the Snoqualmie Valley area. Duvall is about forty minutes from Lake Stevens by way of Monroe.
