Our roof evaluation is an in-person inspection of the roof surface, the flashing and penetrations, the gutters, the attic and the ventilation, followed by a plain-English conversation about what we found. We walk the roof. We go into the attic and look at the underside of the decking, the insulation and the vents. We take photos of everything so you can see what we are describing without climbing a ladder.
Then we tell you the truth: how many years the roof realistically has left in this climate, whether anything needs attention now, and what it would cost to repair, clean or replace. There is no charge for the evaluation and no pressure at the end of it.

FREE EVALUATION
Plenty of roofing companies will email you a price from aerial measurements without ever setting foot on your property. It is fast, and it is how homeowners end up with change orders. A satellite cannot see soft decking, a cracked pipe boot, moss lifting the shingle edges on the north slope, or the wet insulation in the attic that says a leak has been running for two winters.
Homeowners who have used us have told us the in-person inspection saved them money, because we found a repair where another company had quoted a replacement from a photo. That happens more than you would think.

The attic is where a roof tells the truth. Staining on the rafters shows old leaks. Dark, damp sheathing shows a live one. Compressed or matted insulation under a vent shows condensation from poor ventilation, which shortens the life of shingles from underneath. And the attic is where we count how many sheets of plywood are actually going to need replacing.
Pricing the plywood up front is the reason our roof replacement quotes do not grow after tear-off. If you are getting bids from other companies, ask each of them whether they went in the attic. The answer will tell you a lot about the number they gave you.
FREE EVALUATION
Before you buy or sell a home, after a windstorm, when you notice moss taking hold, when a roof passes the twelve-year mark in Western Washington, and any time you see a stain on a ceiling. An inspection every couple of years catches small failures while they are still repairs. It also gives you a baseline, so when a salesperson knocks on your door after a storm you already know what condition your roof is in.
We serve Lake Stevens, Snohomish, Everett, Marysville, Monroe, Lynnwood, Edmonds, Bothell, Woodinville, Kirkland and the surrounding areas. The evaluation is free and valued at $300.

Usually 45 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on the size of the roof and the attic access. We would rather spend the time than miss something.
No. This company was started specifically because its owner was tired of pressure selling. You will get the facts, the photos and the options, and then the decision is yours.
