Edmonds is one of our favorite places to work, from the view homes above the Bowl to the wooded neighborhoods of Perrinville and Westgate. We have replaced full decks and roofs here. Wallace Roofing & Exterior handles every kind of roofing work an Edmonds home needs, from a single leaking pipe boot to a complete tear-off and replacement. We are a Malarkey Certified Residential Contractor, and we chose that shingle for how it holds up in our climate, not for the warranty printed on the wrapper.

Marine air keeps Edmonds roofs damp and algae-streaked, and the big firs in Perrinville, Seaview and Firdale add shade and needles. Moss grows here as fast as anywhere on the Sound. In Edmonds we see all of it, and our answer is the same: fix what can be fixed, replace what is finished, and never pressure wash a roof to make it look better. We have documented a six-year-old roof in Snohomish ruined by exactly that.

The Bowl and Seaview have 1940s to 60s homes, many with original cedar roofs under asphalt, while Westgate, Firdale and Meadowdale run 1960s to 80s ramblers and split-levels. There is nothing more expensive than a good deal on a home improvement project. We would rather lose an Edmonds job to a low bid than win it by cutting the underlayment, skipping the ice-and-water shield or shingling over soft decking. That is how we have earned our referrals.
Repairs you pay us for in Edmonds are credited toward a full replacement if you decide on one later, and new gutters and downspouts are included with every full roof replacement. Financing through Hearth is available with a 60-second pre-qualification that does not affect your credit.
Our roofing work in Edmonds covers The Bowl, Seaview, Perrinville, Westgate and the rest of the Edmonds waterfront. Edmonds is about thirty-five minutes from Lake Stevens, and we are there regularly.
