Edmonds is one of our favorite places to work, from the view homes above the Bowl to the wooded neighborhoods of Perrinville and Westgate. We have replaced full decks and roofs here. Wallace Roofing & Exterior repairs roofs in Edmonds that other companies would rather replace. If a repair will hold and the rest of the roof has life left, that is what we recommend. If it will not, we tell you that before we take your money.

Marine air keeps Edmonds roofs damp and algae-streaked, and the big firs in Perrinville, Seaview and Firdale add shade and needles. Moss grows here as fast as anywhere on the Sound. Storm damage in Edmonds usually means wind-lifted or missing shingles and torn ridge caps. We match the shingle, reseal what can be resealed and replace what cannot, and we can tarp the roof first if the weather will not wait.

The Bowl and Seaview have 1940s to 60s homes, many with original cedar roofs under asphalt, while Westgate, Firdale and Meadowdale run 1960s to 80s ramblers and split-levels. We also fix the damage a long-term leak leaves behind in Edmonds: soft decking, rotten fascia and soffits, and stained drywall inside. Fixing the leak without fixing what it soaked is only half a repair.
Our free roof evaluation in Edmonds includes the roof walk and the attic check, so you know whether you are looking at a repair, a cleaning or a replacement before anyone quotes you anything.
