Lake Forest Park is one of the most heavily treed cities in King County, and that canopy is exactly why homeowners here call us about moss, needles and roofs that never dry out. Wood or composite for your Lake Forest Park deck? Cedar is beautiful, cooler underfoot and less expensive up front, and it needs cleaning and re-sealing every year or two here. Composite costs more on day one and then asks almost nothing of you. Under heavy tree cover, composite is usually the better long-term value.

Steep, forested lots and constant shade mean roofs in Lake Forest Park hold moisture longer than almost anywhere else we work, and gutters fill with needles several times a year. We build cedar decks in Lake Forest Park too, including large projects like a full replacement of a 1,000 square foot clear cedar deck, and we will be honest with you about the maintenance cedar takes under Northwest trees.

Deck services in Lake Forest Park include new construction, full replacement, resurfacing sound framing, ledger and framing repair, stairs and landings, aluminum, cable and wood railings, and covered porches and overhang rebuilds. We handle the permit from design through final inspection.
Decks are often part of a larger Lake Forest Park exterior project alongside siding and roofing. We coordinate the phases so the ledger flashing, siding and any roof overhang work as one system.
