Redmond's 1970s through 90s neighborhoods are right at roof and siding replacement age, and we serve homeowners from Education Hill to Bear Creek with roofing, Hardie siding, windows and decks. Wallace Roofing & Exterior Construction is a James Hardie Alliance Elite Contractor installing fiber cement siding for Redmond homeowners. Most people do not know siding certifications differ. Alliance Elite is Hardie's designation for contractors trained to install to Hardie's own specification, and it affects the coverage your siding carries.

Education Hill, Grass Lawn and the Bear Creek corridor are heavily treed, so shade, needles and moss are the main enemies of a Redmond roof, and the many skylights on 1980s homes need proper flashing. Here is something we say on almost every Redmond siding estimate: James Hardie installed to code is bound to fail. We mean Washington State builder code, a minimum that passes inspection, as opposed to Hardie's own installation specification, which is what keeps water out for thirty years.

Expect 1970s and 80s two-stories and split-levels on Education Hill and Grass Lawn, 1990s homes in Bear Creek and Overlake, and newer construction near downtown. Full siding replacement in Redmond includes paint, new trim, corner boards and belly bands, and soffit and fascia work that ties the exterior together. We also color-match repairs, including twenty-year-old vinyl, so a patch disappears.
We also handle the permit for Redmond siding work when one is required, and we coordinate Hardie siding with Milgard window replacement so the openings are flashed together, not separately.
We provide James Hardie siding across all of Redmond, including Education Hill, Grass Lawn, Overlake, Bear Creek, and the surrounding the Eastside area. Redmond is about forty minutes from Lake Stevens.
