Wallace Roofing & Exterior Construction serves the Eastside from Kirkland and Redmond to Bellevue, Sammamish and Issaquah, bringing the same honest evaluation and installation quality we are known for in Snohomish County. Wallace Roofing & Exterior Construction cleans roofs in Eastside the only way we will put our name on: low-pressure soft washing with a treatment that kills moss and algae at the root. We never pressure wash. We have documented a six-year-old roof in Snohomish destroyed by it.

Eastside neighborhoods are heavily treed, so moss, needles and shade are the main threats to a roof, and the mix of tile, cedar shake and architectural shingle roofs on 1980s and 90s homes calls for a contractor comfortable with all of them. Roofs in Eastside grow moss for three reasons: shade, moisture and debris. North-facing slopes under fir and cedar never fully dry between rains, needles hold water against the shingles, and moss moves into that layer. Closer to the water, algae staining adds to it.
